Summer Camp 2020
The summer program at Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool is 10 weeks of fun and learning for students who have a wide range of interests. Browse our schedule of programs here and reserve your child’s spot today!
We offer full day summer camp for children ages 4 to 12 years old in arts, humanities, sciences, and more! Camp is from 6:30 AM until 5:00 PM with STEM included!
Our camps are divided into the following age groups:
- 4-5 years old
- 6-7 years old
- 8-9 years old
- 10-12 years old

Main Camp Themes
Week 1: Getting to Know You and Summer Fun
This week campers will become acquainted with their counselors. There will be games and activities based on the theme of summer.
Week 2: Creepy Crawlies
This week’s activities and games will be focused on the different bugs and insects we find while we are playing outside.
Week 3: Under the Sea
Learning all about the oceans and the creatures that live there. Several water based activities throughout the week and lessons on ocean conservation.
Week 4: Space Week
Campers will become space explorers and learn about the different planets and other items we find in our solar system.
Week 5: Monster Mash
Imaginations will be ignited as campers engage in activities that are focused on friendly monsters! They will even have a chance to create their own friendly monsters.
Week 6: Spirit Week
This week we will be learning about our Independence Day and why we celebrate it.
Week 7: Safari
Pack your bags because we will be taking a safari into the jungle. What animals will we find? What type of terrain is there?
Week 8: Camping
We will be exploring the wonderful outdoors and what things we need when we go camping.
Week 9: Wild Wild West
Yee Haw! We will put our cowboy and cowgirl hats on and ride into the Wild West. How were things different from the way we live today?
Week 10: STEM Week
This week we will be completing a variety of STEM activities.
